When you visit Panama City, be sure to roam around and take in the nightlife! There is something for everyone to enjoy.

 

The Breakers - is the area's premier supper club, with unsurpassed Gulf views and music for dining and dancing. You'll swear the King has risen from the grave, as "Elvis Presley" and other impersonators at Clutch Rock 'n' Roll Cafe perform here. The show is worth the cover of $10 to $15 per person. Sharkey's - is another local favorite located  on the Gulf that offers music, food and good times for all. 15201 Front Beach Rd. (tel. 850/235-2420).

 

Spinnaker Beach Club & Paradise Grill - is known for live music and the delicious food. The waitress said the hamburgers and peanut butter pie are the best things on the menu. She was right!

Skip the appetizers, and order the Hawaiian burger (topped with pineapple and a teriyaki glaze) or the Black & Bleu burger (topped with bacon and blue cheese). And by all means, save room for the creamy peanut butter pie. 8795 Thomas Drive; (850) 234-7882.

 

Schooners Last Local Beach Club - has an amazing view of the cool white sand and emerald waves, a meal here is the next best thing to a cookout on the beach.

For families, lunch is the best time to go. Schooners salutes each sunset with a blast from a cannon. Bands perform nightly, and the celebration grows as the evening goes on. The restaurant is open year-round. 5121 Gulf Drive; (850) 235-3555.

 

Pineapple Willy's - is located right on the water and it offers seafood and the basics, including ribs in a bucket and a special tuna dip.

The Boatyard - offers live music and inventive seafood dishes attract diners to this modern take on a beach classic. Don’t miss the Key lime pie on a stick and lobster-stuffed grouper. 5323 North Lagoon Drive; (850) 235-0737.
